Akin Akinpelu

I’m Dr. Akin Akinpelu, Professor of Practice in Educational Leadership and founder of Akin Akinpelu Learning & Development (AALD). My mission is simple yet profound: to help individuals and institutions unlock their full potential through transformative leadership and innovative strategies. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with thousands of students and leaders across more than 15 countries, building strong systems, shaping minds, and supporting communities—especially across Africa—in achieving sustainable progress.

My work is rooted in a deep commitment to leadership development, education reform, and institutional transformation. Through this lens, I support my community in multiple ways: mentoring emerging leaders, especially in under-resourced areas; launching grassroots leadership programs inspired by my PERFORMX framework; advising on policy and governance reforms; fostering public-private partnerships that drive innovation in education and employment; and empowering educators with training that integrates soft skills, technology, and leadership development.

Joining Adaptive Intelligence—a network of forward-thinking professionals—presents an incredible opportunity to collaborate with others equally passionate about innovation, leadership, and impact.
