Francisco (Pancho) Alonso

I am Mexican and consider myself a citizen of the world. My job and personal life experience have allowed me to delve into more than one language and culture (North America, Latin America, Eastern Europe). I believe there is considerable value in such life knowledge which can be instrumental in connecting with people and opportunities both personally and professionally.I love being in motion and outside of work I am a climbing athlete, a learning musician (drums), and chess player (competitive). Tennis is my other love which I have put to rest to develop myself in the above traits.Several years ago I have been lecturer at various levels including university. Although I haven't been able to return to it, I enjoyed the experience quite a bit. I believe educating and mentoring younger people is not only altruistic, but also instrumental for improving ourselves.

My background is Engineering and Math, which over 10+ years I have used to succeed in business consulting (Energy, Aviation, Retail) and for the most part in Finance (Central Bank, Big Finance, and currently Fintech).I can help the community with analytical thinking, paired with engineering knowledge, and business growth experience. I believe these three aspects can be of great service when evaluating investment opportunities, project planning, and business growth.
