About
I am co-founding a nonprofit called "Voice 4 AI Governance". We offer live Responsible AI & Policymaking training sessions to upskill and reskill low- to high-skilled workers and underrepresented communities in the Tech sector. I can advise on many topics affecting Africa, from tech to education to peace building.
I am a Computer Science engineer. After working in the field for a few years, I shifted to international development. However, the advancement of emerging technologies and their impact on the environment, peace, and security in Africa pushed me to embrace technology policy. I earned my Master's in Public Policy from American University, Washington DC. Currently, I am completing a mid-career Master's in Public Administration at Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
I am passionate about serving my community and empowering those around me. My main mantra is to live every moment to the fullest and enjoy the simple pleasures of life like breathing the fresh mountain air or the salty beach air, laughing a lot, dancing whenever I can, etc.
I am in the testing/pilot phase of my nonprofit and would appreciate mentorship and advice from the community. Additionally, I will be graduating next May and am looking for my future position.
