The Adaptive Angel Network is a community of angel investors who are members, fellows, and partners of the Adaptive Foundation ecosystem. We are united by a shared vision: to build a high-trust, values-driven investor community that supports ventures emerging from our global network.
Our mission is to build an angel investor community among Adaptive members and to improve our collective skills and knowledge through activities related to angel investing- particularly in emerging markets across Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.
As many of us have experience in growing successful companies, investing in successful ventures, and mentoring founders, we strive to promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education within the Adaptive ecosystem and the communities we serve. Every venture we support creates opportunities that ripple through entire communities.
Angels
If you are an angel investor who is a member of the Adaptive ecosystem - including Fellows, alumni, and partners with a passion for supporting ventures in emerging markets, you may wish to consider becoming involved with the Adaptive Angel Network.
Membership & Participation
Criteria for Membership & Participation in Pitch Meetings:

You are a member of the Adaptive Foundation ecosystem (Fellow, alumni, or partner)

You are an accredited investor, as defined by applicable securities regulations in your jurisdiction
Important: All investments in entrepreneurial companies involve a high degree of risk. Investors should be able to bear the risk of complete financial loss. You, and not the Adaptive Angel Network or its members, will be responsible for your own investment decisions.
Entrepreneurs
We generally look for the types of indicia of success expected by venture capital and other investors. We seek strengths in the team, potential market, technology, and business model. We like to see proof of market through sales, customer adoption, or a strong case for customer need.
